Unknown Bride and Groom 1930's, Stevens Point, Wisconsin

These lovely people don't have names, but I do know the photograph was taken in Stevens Point, Wisconsin and was found in a box with another photograph from there of Jess and Frank Cook- I wonder if they're related. The bride has a big bouquet of calla lilies which was especially popular during the 1930's, as was the long train on her dress.

Found Family: Munselle Family 1900's, Texas

I was recently able to return this photograph after coming across a page about the Munselle family on while doing some research. I contacted Nancy and she confirmed that these were indeed her ancestors. The family lived in Bangs, Texas around the time this photo was taken. Lawrence (Zona) and wife Ada Shipp had three children: Leland, Joe Howard, and Mark, who is listed on the back but was likely born after the picture was taken.

I'm glad I was able to safely return the photograph to its family!

Aunt Jess and Uncle Frank Cook 1900's Stevens Point, Wisconsin

Jessie Rowe and Frank Cook were married in 1902 and had two sons, Robert F and Clifton R. In 1910, Frank was a house painter and in 1920, he was a janitor for a post office. Judging by Jess's hairstyle, this is definitely early 1900's and could have been a wedding portrait.
