Herman and Elinore Paul 1900's, Budapest

"Our cousin and wife
mother's brother son
her nephew Herman Paul
and Elinore Paul."

"Mother's brother children
Our cousin Herman and Elinore Paul and family
in Germany."

This is the Paul family from Germany, which includes Herman, his wife Elinore, and their five children. They are fashionably dressed, which suggests that they may have been well-off. The little girls in the picture appear to be holding crocheted sacks with some sort of balls in them. I wonder if anyone might know what those are?

If you know who this family may be, let us know in the comments!

  1. (Fulop) Beck Odon (1873-1945) likely took this photo around 1915-ish.

This being the mother's brother's son - it is hard to trace. Hungarian is difficult to decipher!
